NEWLAND

NEWLAND ist ein ganztägiges, interaktives RealLife-Rollenspiel für Jugendliche ab 14 für etwa 100 Teilnehmer:innen in Freilassing, und unsere Praktikanten war dabei. Hier könnt ihr ihren Bericht über den Tag lesen:

Hello, our names are Christian and Jonas, we were at the project Newland in Germany.

It all started with we met with some people from the Akzente organisation, and then we took a train to Germany and met up with the other guys from Akzente. They were so prepared for the event, so when the kids came at 09:00, they were ready, and it all worked out smoothly.

We were there as the media team, so we were there to take pictures, interview the kids and observe the whole event from another perspective. We took a lot of pictures of the kids and became good friends with them.

The kidslearneda lot about the political system and how to control a city. They were mixed and teams with people they have never met so they had to work together as a team without knowing each other, it was very fascinating how they chose to rule there city, most of them chose democracy, but one of the groups they were all shy and didn’t talk, then one of them said that he with rule the city, and then he became a dictator. Another team teamed up with another team.

It was a very good event to teach young people on how the world is ruled by politicians, and it will help them in the future to see how difficult it is to rule a world and that’s why they will see it from another perspective.

Hallo, wir heißen Christian und Jonas, wir waren beim Projekt NewLand in Deutschland.

Alles begann damit, dass wir uns mit einigen Leuten von der Akzente-Organisation trafen, und dann fuhren wir mit dem Zug nach Deutschland und trafen uns mit den anderen Kollegen und Kolleginnen von Akzente. Sie waren so gut auf die Veranstaltung vorbereitet, und als die Kinder um 09:00 Uhr kamen, waren sie bereit, und es hat alles gut geklappt.

Wir waren als Medienteam dabei, also waren wir da, um Fotos zu machen, die Kinder zu interviewen und das ganze Ereignis aus einer anderen Perspektive zu betrachten. Wir haben viele Fotos von den Kindern gemacht und sind gute Freunde mit ihnen geworden.

Die Kinder lernten viel über das politische System und wie man eine Stadt verwalten.

Sie waren gemischt und Teams mit Leuten, die sie noch nie getroffen haben, also mussten sie als Team zusammenarbeiten, ohne sich zu kennen. Die meisten von ihnen entschieden sich für die Demokratie, als Regierungsform aber eine der Gruppen war schüchtern und sprachen nicht. Dann sagte einer von ihnen, dass er die Führungsrolle übernehmen will und er wurde dann zum Diktator. Ein anderes Team tat sich mit einem anderen Team zusammen.

Es war eine sehr gute Veranstaltung, um jungen Menschen beizubringen, wie die Welt von Politikern regiert wird.
